GAJOOB
Susnara always offers up a wide range of styles on his releases. Most
often, Dan's work is challenging and full of talented performances.
His vocals have a characteristic quasi-english style which reminds
me, especially on this tape for some reason, of hometaper Ken Clinger,
only attempting more melody. The first three songs on this 5-song
EP, unfortunately, suffer from Dan's offkey charm, however, "This
Is How" delivers an exceptional progrock arrangement that progrock
fans will definitely want to devour. Bryan Baker

Dan Susnara - SWEDISH LOVE KIT: This is one of the kewlest lil'
tapes I've ever heard from Dan (& I've heard nearly all of his tapes).
Title trak features him with only piano & vox… very interesting,
very different from much of the music I've heard him do before.
Susnara is multi-talented and prolific. There are also some heavy
synth/guitar oriented cuts here, true to form for this artist… but,
this is some of the most highly creative work I've heard him do.
If you haven't heard Mr. Susnara before, you OWE it to yourself
to get WITH IT! Some of you may know that I've collaborated on several
pieces with him, too… all intriguing, all encompassing music that's
always "out" there somewhere beyond the boring. Kinda' music that
transports one to areas they didn't know existed. Comes MOST HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED from me! Rotcod Zzaj
