YEAH!, Issue #56, October 2009
You know how certain record labels have their own "singles
clubs", where exclusive releases are made available only to
paid subscribers? Well the annual DIY releases from Micky Saunders
and Dan Susnara have always felt like an even MORE exclusive and
special kind of singles club, whether those "singles"
were released on cassette, or more recently, CD. This year's treat
is the spirited, catchy fuzz-guitar of "In the Same Old Place",
where Micky dreams of 'going back in time / back to 1995' (she's
not the ONLY one…), and the synth-tastic, sung-by-Dan, "Everything
You're Not". Why not send either of these lovely people some
dollars and become a member of the coolest singles club around?
You KNOW it makes sense!
